Yeah, I remember that you hunt rattlesnakes in the summer. I don't mind them, except I worry that I'll step on one. I almost did a couple years ago in the Beartrap. And I'm doing well. Thanks!
There are a lot of them right at the beginning of the trail at the Warm Springs access. You cross a little creek, and then you'll sometimes run into them in the first 100 or 150 yards. I almost stepped on one, there!

I've bumped into a fair number of people who were fishing in the Beartrap and saw a lot of those snakes. Might have to venture that direction. :)
