Galen and I are traveling from Wisconsin Dells home to Des Plaines. I just read your whole post to and we smiled and we enjoyed it really appreciated what you wrote. Glad you could have such a wonderful time with your family. We were able to be with two of ours up at Wisconsin Dells. Our youngest son out Portland comes every other year.

Thanks, Teressa! We had a good trip and arrived home safely on Sunday night after a two-day drive from Montana. It is a beautiful part of the country. I lived there for more than 20 years and still think of it as home--although Morton was such a great place to grow up and still is a great town. I hope you enjoy Erik Larson's books!
